DESCRIPTION:The 60th International Art Exhibition entitled Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, curated by Adriano Pedrosa and produced by the Biennale di Venezia, opened on Saturday, 20 April 2024, in the Giardini and the Arsenale. The pre-opening took place on 17, 18 and 19 April, the award ceremony and inauguration on 20 April 2024. For the German contribution to the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, curator Çağla Ilk invited the artists Michael Akstaller, Yael Bartana, Robert Lippok, Ersan Mondtag, Nicole L’Huillier and Jan St. Werner to move on the edge, on the gradation, on the border under the title Thresholds.
