The event will take place on June 23, 2026, in Berlin.\nSpecial features:\nA special feature of Videoart at Midnight is that it is a non-commercial cultural program that is accessible free of charge. Each month, an evening is dedicated to a single artist who is present in person. Often, world premieres or rarely presented works are shown. Occasionally, the film and video presentations are accompanied by live acts such as performances, concerts, or lectures. The project is known for its curatorial selection, which presents both renowned artists and new discoveries.\nTarget audience:\nThe series is aimed at a young and international audience interested in contemporary art, especially film, media, and video art. This includes art lovers, students, professionals from the art scene, and anyone who wants to discover new artistic perspectives.\nHistory:\nVideoart at Midnight was founded in 2008 by Olaf Stüber and collector Ivo Wessel as a film series for Berlin-based artists working with film and video. Since then, it has invited artists to show their work at the legendary Babylon cinema every month, always on a Friday at midnight.
