DEEDS CALENDAR: Le Musée Recopié – Centre Pompidou | until 24.02.2025

Le Musée Recopié is a participatory performance that invites the public to spend one or more days copying all the works in a museum by hand. Conceived by Simon Gauchet and the École Parallèle Imaginaire, this performance aims to re-appropriate the history of art and the permanent collections of a museum by its visitors and the inhabitants of a city.

For the Centre Pompidou, the session is a collective challenge open to the public (by appointment) regardless of age, education or artistic practice. The copies made will be exhibited in Gallery 4 on 23 and 24 February.
