Der Bahnhof: eine Berliner Geschichte | Hamburger Bahnhof
From 16 June 2023, Hamburger Bahnhof will present its renewed vision of a contemporary collection museum under the motto “The Bahnhof: A Berlin Story”. The presentation consists of three interlocking programme lines: “National Gallery: A Collection for the 21st Century” is dedicated to artistic practices in Berlin from the threshold of the opening of the Wall to the present, the “Forum Hamburger Bahnhof” negotiates the multifaceted history of the site, and the “Infinite Exhibition” presents site-specific artworks in and around the museum in a new tour. As a big thank you to Berliners and the public for the long-term preservation of the building complex by the state of Berlin and the federal government, “The Station: A Berlin Story” opens with three open days and artist talks, DJ sets, performances with free admission from Fri 16 June to Sun 18 June 2023.
