From March 2, 2024, the Pinakothek der Moderne will be showing works from the jewelry class at Kobe Design University in the New Collection. KanKan ‒ KiraKira ‒ DokiDoki, in Japanese onomatopoeia this means the sound of the hammer when making jewelry, the look of jewelry and the feeling when wearing jewelry. Onomatopoeia is a broad term. He tries to capture emotions and sounds, situations and actions in one word, one expression. It is completely irrelevant whether the feelings, sounds or circumstances are generated by people or by objects.
