New direction for two of the most important prizes

Discovery Acquisition Prize, supported by Moleskine
The former Discovery Award is now more focused on supporting museum collections. Instead of recognizing the best stand presentation in the Discovery section, the prize is now awarded in the form of an extended acquisition budget – up to EUR 10,000 (previously EUR 5,000) – to purchase a work of art for a museum collection. This year, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium have been selected, with Inga Rossi-Schrimpf (Director of Collections) and Pierre-Yves Desaive (Curator) joining the jury – consisting of Galila Barzilai Hollander (Art Collector), Koi Persyn (Curator, Jester) and Ariane Sutthavong (Independent Curator).
