For many years, independent groups and artists in the performative arts have been independently acquiring (post)digital skills and integrating them into their artistic practice. From 3 to 5 November 2022, the BREAKDOWN networking conference will open up a space for networking the independent digital scene and sharing (post)digital ways of working: The programme is aimed at interdisciplinary female artists who intensively engage with practices such as creative coding, software development, interaction design, physical computing, XR design, game design and many more in their work.

Under the programme leadership of the media and performance group OutOfTheBox, practice-oriented formats such as live tutorials, open workshops and table talks invite participants to share knowledge, challenges and ideas for working at the intersection of theatre and digitality and to participate in the development of new communities.
The conference consists of various programme items from which the programme can be individually compiled. In many formats it is possible to actively participate; however, the events can also be attended without participation. The event is planned with regular breaks, individual breaks are possible at any time. Drinks and a small catering service will be provided.
