As part of the current exhibition Magic Bullet, the Schinkel Pavilion is hosting a reading on 27th November 2025 with authors Marius Goldhorn and Timo Feldhaus on Goldhorn’s new novel Die Prozesse (The Trials), published in 2025 by Kiepenheuer & Witsch. Similar to Issy Wood’s paintings, Goldhorn’s novel reads like a chronicle of our present between utopia and dystopia, between glamour and disillusionment.

In hypnotic sentences, Marius Goldhorn guides two reeling men through a shaken continent, torn apart by its past, its crimes and its longing for a new beginning. ‘Die Prozesse’ (The Trials) is a stirring story about love, guilt and innocence – and a novel of enigmatic clarity.
Marius Goldhorn was born in Lahnstein in 1991 and is the author of the novel Park (Suhrkamp Verlag) and the poetry collection Yin (Korbinian Verlag). His stories and essays have been translated into several languages. His second novel, Die Prozesse, will be published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2025.
Timo Feldhaus, born in 1980, is a journalist and author. After studying literature and sociology, he writes about art and social issues for Zeit Online, Monopol and Welt am Sonntag.
Admission to the event is included in the exhibition admission fee.
