DAS MINSK Kunsthaus in Potsdam presents its 2026 programme under the new directorship of Anna Schneider. With a focus on dialogue, diversity, and participation, the institution strengthens its role as an open cultural platform while amplifying underrepresented voices. The year features two major exhibitions: Oscar Murillo. Collective Osmosis and a comprehensive retrospective dedicated to Annemirl Bauer.

Oscar Murillo. Collective Osmosis
14.03.2026 – 09.08.2026
Colombian artist Oscar Murillo transforms the interior and exterior spaces of DAS MINSK into a dynamic experiment on exchange, community, and artistic agency. Collective Osmosis unfolds a dialogue between Murillo’s painterly and installation-based practice and works by Claude Monet.
The scientific concept of osmosis serves as a metaphor for permeability: the exhibition opens the museum towards the city and the world. It also marks the first collaboration between DAS MINSK and the Museum Barberini, where additional works by Murillo will be shown.
Director Anna Schneider highlights Murillo’s ability to “break boundaries and design new forms of community.” The exhibition is curated by Anna Schneider and Daniel Milnes, with Luisa Bachmann as curatorial assistant.
About the artist
Oscar Murillo (b. 1986, La Paila) works across painting, installation, video, and participatory projects. His practice reflects collective culture and social dynamics. His monumental project The flooded garden was presented at Tate Modern in 2024. In 2019, he received the Turner Prize jointly with three other artists.
Annemirl Bauer
05.09.2026 – 07.02.2027
In autumn 2026, DAS MINSK presents a major retrospective of Annemirl Bauer (1939–1989). The exhibition honours a fearless artist from Berlin and Brandenburg whose critical, socially engaged position remained marginalised for decades.
The show brings together paintings, drawings, collages, and objects, illuminating Bauer’s resistance against the repressive politics of the GDR.
The exhibition is curated by Marie Gerbaulet, with Luisa Bachmann as curatorial assistant, in collaboration with Amrei Bauer, estate representative and head of the Annemirl Bauer House.
