DEEDS CALENDAR: Berlin Art Week 2023 – Exhibition, Research Project, Workshops, Performances, Publications, Festival – House of World Cultures (HKW) | until 24.09.2023
In the final weeks of the exhibition “O Quilombismo”, the HKW – House of World Cultures would like to thank all the artists, staff, colleagues at the HKW and especially the audience who supported the exhibition. In the months following the reopening of the HKW, the HKW has jointly inhabited this special exhibition, trying to learn from each other how a house with a fraught history can become a home for the many artistic, sonic, political, intellectual and spiritual worlds that make up what Berlin is. Between gardens, redesigned spaces and acts of performativity, the HKW is grateful to have ignited a collective experience of living culture – a convivial, permeable and open house ready for the years ahead.
