Body & Soul. Thinking, Feeling, Brushing Teeth – Museum Ostwall
At the beginning of 2020, the Museum Ostwall reopened its new collection presentation under the title “Body & Soul. Thinking, Feeling, Brushing Teeth” after an extensive reconstruction of the two museum floors. Fernand Léger’s dancers from the period of Classical Modernism now compete with break dancers in Andreas Langfeld’s photographs; the Expressionists’ landscapes, shaped by their own emotional experience, encourage visitors to uncover their own repressed states of mind in Wolf Vostell’s installation “Umgraben”.
