The exhibition ‘True Evil: The Seven Deadly Sins in Painting’ at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht takes us into the world of COURAGE, EVIL, VIOLENCE, INJUSTICE, AVARICE and MISERICORDY. The complete exhibition, which can be seen from 19 October 2024, offers a unique insight into the moral and artistic representations of the period from 1480 to 1620 and places them in the context of our time. At the centre of the exhibition is the question: What is good and what is evil?
