The exhibition Par Avion presents the culmination of a cross-border collaborative project between the Critical Edge Collective from London, the Best Before Collective from Stockholm, and eight artists from Berlin. The exhibition can be seen at Neurotitan from March 14 to April 4, 2026.

Inspired by the original Mail Art movement, which focused on collaboration and community, in July 2025, members of the Critical Edge Collective (London), the Best Before Collective (Stockholm), and eight artists from Berlin joined forces: All 24 artists sent their developed research ideas to a partner in another city; the recipients created a work of art in response to the suggestions and questions contained therein.
The exhibition offers these artists the opportunity to come together and present their ideas in a new series of works. ParAvion encompasses sculptures, prints, paintings, drawings, textiles, audiovisual media, and performances—as well as the envelopes that each artist sent to a different country at the beginning of the process. This bold project not only showcases new works from a variety of disciplines but is also a tribute to the creative power of collaboration and partnership.

The Par Avion project was launched by the Critical Edge Collective in collaboration with the Best Before Collective to facilitate the exchange of research between artists. The aim was to spark enthusiasm for the research processes of diverse individuals while simultaneously building an intercultural community between London, Stockholm, and Berlin. Critical Edge and Best Before first came together in 2024 during a group exhibition in London, where a friendship developed, along with a desire to collaborate on a broader, Europe-wide scale.
