Special features:
A special feature of Zona Maco is its role as a cultural hotspot during Mexico City Art Week, which includes numerous accompanying events, exhibitions in museums and galleries, and an extensive supporting program throughout the city. The fair is known for its careful curation and presentation of a mix of established international galleries and emerging talent from the region. It also offers special sections dedicated to specific themes, geographical regions, or young galleries.
Target audience:
Around 70 percent of visitors are professionals, including collectors, curators, gallery owners, and institutions. At the same time, the fair is open to art lovers from Mexico and abroad.

The history of Zona Maco began in 2002 under the name “Muestra” in Monterrey and was founded by Zélika García.
