34 galleries for contemporary art and art-related venues in the Berlin districts of Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf invite you to visit them on January 26th 2019 from noon to 4 pm Some open their doors even longer.

In many galleries participating in the Charlottenwalk, special events take place within this framework. Here is a selection:

Bermel von Luxburg Gallery (Fasanenstraße 29, 10719 Berlin-Charlottenburg) opens the exhibition Space made by Color with Cristina Ghetti and Arnd Kaestner on 26.01.2019 with a vernissage directly after the tour from 6 pm to 9 pm. In the Art Cabinet: The Bridge in Dialogue with African Tribal Art.

ALEXANDER OCHS PRIVATE (Schillerstraße 15, 10625 Berlin-Charlottenburg) is currently showing the exhibition ORNAMENT + ABSTRAKTION by the artists COLIN ARDLEY + TANJA ROCHELMEYER + BRIGITTE SCHWACKE + ANJA SCHWÖRER. Registration for a visit to this special gallery (as this is the private premises of the gallery owner) is not necessary during the Charlotten Walk.

EFREMIDIS GALLERY (Ernst-Reuter-Platz 2, 10587 Berlin-Charlottenburg) invites you to present the book that was created on the occasion of the current exhibition “Content is a Glimpse”. At 4:30 pm the curator of the exhibition, Juriaan Benschop, will give a speech. Works by Anna Tuori, David Schutter, Fiona Rae, Jorge Queiroz and Mark Lammert will be shown.

Galerie Eigenheim Weimar/Berlin (Kantstraße 28, 10623 Berlin-Charlottenburg near Savignyplatz) currently presents the UfK (ultrafreier Künstler = ultrafree artist) Benedikt Braun in solo with the exhibition SHOOTING STAR and accompanying in the newly designed salon of Galerie Eigenheim the artist Lars Wild with drawings in the exhibition GOLDLAUTER. Benedikt Braun’s exhibition also offers a work of art with which the visitors can interact (expected reference without guarantee).
