Test phase passed: With the midday programme Studio 9 – the day with… Deutschlandfunk Kultur will broadcast live from the Humboldt Forum Berlin on a regular basis. Guest on 15 March with host Korbinian Frenzel: Harald Schmidt.

In the programme “Studio 9 – the day with …”, presenter Korbinian Frenzel talks for an hour from 12.05 p.m. with a prominent guest from the media, culture or politics about the important issues of our time. The regular live radio show in front of and with an audience will take place every second Thursday from 15 March. What and how is discussed in the “Mechanical Arena” of the Humboldt Forum is directly influenced by the viewers on site. Thanks to the open space, anyone who just happens to drop by can spontaneously join the live programme.

This is a real stroke of luck for us: with topical and socially relevant debates, the lunchtime programme not only brings exciting guests and the audience on site into dialogue and thus contributes significantly to the Humboldt Forum as a place of encounter, participation, critical debate and also entertainment, but also continues to make it known as such throughout Germany and beyond.”
On 15 March, Harald Schmidt will be the guest of the radio show, on 30 March it’s Studio 9 – the day with Eva Menasse. Thea Dorn will follow on 20 April, and Cem Özdemir on 27 April. Participation in all events is free of charge. Registration is requested, but spontaneous visits are also possible.
