On August 30, 2025, Berlin will once again be transformed into a nighttime stage for art, culture, and encounters: The Long Night of Museums invites you to a unique cultural experience under this year’s motto “Love in Berlin.” 75 museums are participating in this special event – with over 750 events, all of which can be accessed with a single ticket.

Whether it’s love magic in ancient Egypt, East German education on the “child-at-home pill,” or questions about artificial intelligence and affection, the program offers surprising perspectives on the topic of love in history, art, science, and society. The spectrum ranges from “honey traps” in the Stasi to contemporary gender issues.

But there’s also plenty to keep your heart pumping: Visitors can dance, flirt, and party at Midnight Tango, an electro masked ball, queer open-air karaoke, or a swing party. In addition to guided tours, concerts, workshops, and talks, Museum Island will once again be a central meeting place for the night.

The complete program will be available online from July 22, 2025. Ticket sales begin on August 4, 2025, via the official website langenachtdermuseen.berlin. There, the digital Museo-Mat helps plan individual routes and provides suitable tips based on personal interests.
