DEEDS CALENDAR: JUNGEN AKADEMIE „Vessel & Voyager“ – Akademie der Künste | until 10.05.2026

“Vessel & Voyager” is the new exhibition project by JUNGE AKADEMIE, the international and interdisciplinary scholarship program of the Akademie der Künste. Twenty-four artists are presenting new works at the Academy building on Hanseatenweg that they developed during their residencies. They explore scope for artistic creation and action in times of diverse and escalating crises and address themes of loss and memory, body and healing, protection and community. The exhibition features photographs, prints, collages, video works, spatial and sound installations, sculptures, drawings, and assemblages. A symposium on 17. April will discuss questions of art, ecology, and gender, referring to the exhibits on display. Performances, concerts, and readings are scheduled for 25. April.
