ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH – Review of 2022 and outlook for 2023

Editors’ Choice

When the 24th ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH closed its doors this year, another successful season was behind it. The art fair in October 2022 was again very well attended, and numerous exhibitors were able to do good business.

Continuity pays off. In the Corona years, too, ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH was able to maintain visitor numbers, even if the fair certainly had to cut back during this time. This year, however, there was no trace of restraint. Shortly after the opening on Thursday, collectors and art lovers crowded the aisles of the Zurich Kongresshaus. An extensive range of exclusive art objects awaited them. International galleries and artists presented works of art in small to large formats.

Once again, the traditional ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH proved to be very popular with the local and national art-interested public. The fair was always very well attended throughout the entire duration of the exhibition. Even the fine weather in Zurich did not dampen visitor interest.

The exhibitors had solid sales, were able to deepen connections with collectors and curators and make new ones. A big topic at the on-site talks on works was living with art and the importance of art even in times of crisis.

The organisers are satisfied and can already report a good booking situation for 2023.
