The Independent Art Fair is an international art fair that focuses on contemporary art of the 21st century. It places particular emphasis on promoting emerging artists and provides a platform for dialogue between different disciplines.

The fair will take place from 14 to 17 May 2026 at Pier 36 in New York, a light-filled venue with 70,000 square feet of space. This new location allows the fair to more than double its exhibition space and strategically position itself along the east side of Manhattan. The fair is known for its unconventional structure without clearly defined booths, which allows for an open and fluid presentation of the artworks.

History:
