“Open House. Open House” – Hamburger Bahnhof with free admission + program
For three days, Friday, 6/16, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 6/17, and Sunday, 6/18, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Hamburger Bahnhof celebrates the launch of the three new collection presentations with free admission to all exhibitions and programs. In addition, the summer music series “Berlin Beats” kicks off on Friday, 6/16, 7pm with a DJ set by Ellen Allien in the museum’s garden; Saturday, 6/17, and Sunday, 6/18, will feature artist talks with Eva Fàbregas, Zineb Sedira, and Selma Selman, among others, as well as behind-the-scenes tours of the museum and all exhibitions. The entire museum opens up to the public: the inner courtyard becomes an open-air stage and art picnic area, visitors dance the tango in the historic hall, build a giant sculpture, collect sounds for the Hamburger Bahnhof soundtrack, or use the walls of the Rieckhallen as a pop-up drawing studio.
