After the 1st AMTSALON, a pop-up exhibition as a joint venture event of 24 Berlin galleries in June 2021 under the roof of the former district court and later land registry Charlottenburg, the now 2nd AMTSALON will take place there in early December 2021.
The galleries also use the AMTSALON to experimentally test artistic newcomers and young talents of the galleries in their effect on the audience.
Some of the exhibiting galleries have changed. New in December are the Berlin galleries HUA International, Kraupa Tuscany Zeidler, Plan B, PSM and Sprüth Magers.
In June, Capitain Petzel, Efremidis, EIGEN+ ART Lab, Esther Schipper, KOW, Meyer Riegger, Schiefe Zähne and Sweetwater also showed works by their artists. However, these will not be present in December.
The listed, multi-story building with a landscaped backyard is located on Kantstraße in Charlottenburg. It was built in 1896 and transformed into a multidisciplinary space for art, architecture and design by Grüntuch Ernst Architekten in dialogue with the existing spaces and traces of former use.
