Launched in 2018 by the BBA Gallery in Berlin, the BBA Photography Prize honours talented photographers every year. The internationally announced photography prize aims to discover and promote up-and-coming talent. The shortlisted works will be presented in a group exhibition at Kühlhaus Berlin from 26 November 2021. The winner will receive a solo exhibition at the BBA Gallery.
Now in its 4th year, the BBA Photography Award honours talented photographers. Together with an international jury, the Berlin BBA Gallery has selected 24 photographers for the shortlist and 37 nominees for the One Shot Award, whose works can be seen in a joint exhibition at the Kühlhaus Berlin until 1 December.
The BBA Photography Prize is an international competition open to anyone over the age of 18, regardless of gender or nationality. There are no restrictions in terms of social, ethnic or educational background or creative subject matter.
The entries are judged by industry professionals on visual quality, pictorial storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craft, thematic depth and understanding.
