The Berlin-based kajetan gallery invites itself to the valerie_traan gallery in Antwerp from October 8th to November 12th 2022. The two galleries are collaborating to present the exhibition 63 with works by six artists represented by kajetan.

The valerie_traan gallery was founded in 2010 under the direction of Veerle Wenes in the historic centre of Antwerp. It is a meeting place for art, architecture and daily objects. The gallery seeks artists with a strong and empathic content, but also a sense of imperfection, artists who work cross-genre, leaving their comfort zones and mixing disciplines to transform, reconstruct and find beauty in the ordinary and daily.
kajetan Berlin was established in September 2018 as a private art gallery for viewing and reflecting in Berlin-Kreuzberg. First located in a former artist studio the gallery is prioritizing creative innovation in a serious way above else and is focusing on so far underrepresented mid-career artists with distinct and strong personal perspectives, whose work is characterized by complexity and precision of form, as well as on discoveries and rediscoveries. In Summer 2021 the gallery left Berlin-Kreuzberg and opened a new exhibition space in the gallery district Berlin-Charlottenburg.
