Art Basel Miami Beach 2024: A highlight of the international art scene. From December 6 to 8, 2024, Art Basel Miami Beach will open its doors to collectors, experts and art lovers from all over the world. With VIP preview days on 4 and 5 December, visitors can expect a comprehensive program with renowned galleries and groundbreaking exhibitions.

This year’s fair, under the direction of Bridget Finn for the first time, will feature 286 leading galleries from 38 countries and territories. With 34 new galleries across all six sectors and 31 first-time exhibitors in the main category, this edition marks the largest number of new participants in over a decade. The fair features paintings, sculpture, installations, photography, film and new media from emerging talents and established figures in modern and contemporary art.
The Meridians sector is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a new concept: under the title “State of Becoming”, curator Yasmil Raymond is presenting 17 large-format works, including contributions by Alice Aycock, José Parlá and Portia Munson. In addition, the Cabinet sector offers thematic presentations with a focus on diversity and discovery. Finn emphasized that the fair aims to provide exceptional quality and memorable encounters for both first-time visitors and seasoned collectors.
The accompanying “Conversations” program, curated by Kimberly Bradley, opens with an artist talk by Iranian artist Shirin Neshat. In addition to the exhibitions, Art Basel contributes to the regional art week and offers a comprehensive experience for visitors interested in the intersection of art, culture and society.
