On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the BBA Gallery is organising an exhibition at Kühlhaus Berlin, which will take place from 22 May to 1 June 2025.

While the Berlin art market generates annual sales of almost 900 million euros and over 4,300 people work in this sector, artists are facing massive cuts in 2025: The Fund for Exhibition Remuneration (FABiK) has been suspended and funding for art in public spaces has been drastically cut.
The BBA Gallery awards prizes such as the BBA Artist Prize and the Made in Berlin Award, organises several exhibitions each year and offers an international platform. Since 2015, it has presented over 50 exhibitions and events with more than 250 female artists from 53 countries and has awarded around 35,000 euros to female artists in ten years.
The BBA Gallery was founded in 2015 as a producer gallery by artists and has since been run independently by Renata Kudlacek and Vishal Shah, without institutional funding from the Senate or the City of Berlin. It was honoured by Gallery for Future in 2023.
To mark its tenth anniversary, the BBA Gallery is organising an anniversary event at Kühlhaus Berlin on 22 May 2025. The programme includes music, catering and an accompanying programme.
The 20 finalists of the BBA Artist Prize, the 20 shortlisted artists of the BBA Photography Prize and the artists of the Made in Berlin Award are now available to view. The winners of the prizes will be announced on 24 May 2025 during the award ceremony at Kühlhaus Berlin.
