The Korean Association for Creative Arts and the Korean Women Artists Association proudly present the “Korean Contemporary Art Festival 2025 in Berlin”. This renowned art festival brings together around 250 contemporary artworks and offers a powerful insight into the spirit, depth, and diversity of Korean art and culture.
The exhibition will feature works by both artists from Korea and Korean artists currently living in Berlin, creating a vibrant exchange between traditional roots and new cultural identities. This unique blend transforms the festival into a platform for artistic dialogue across borders and generations.

Hosted in the heart of Berlin – a city known for its dynamic history and thriving international art scene – the festival aims to captivate not only art enthusiasts but also a broad German audience eager to explore the expressive richness of Korean art.
At the same time, the festival is a meaningful moment for the Korean community living in Germany. It honors their dedication and life achievements, makes their stories and cultural contributions visible – and fills them with pride and recognition for a life they have lived with perseverance and hard work despite many challenges. The exhibition builds a bridge between cultures – a dialogue between origin and new home.

A highlight of the festival will be a live performance by artist Bok Soo Chang, who will create an original work on-site. Additionally, a special action will take place: every Korean artist participating in the exhibition will paint traditional Korean Hanji paper with a large brush on-site. The Hanji sheets – measuring 4 meters by 1.2 meters – represent a powerful collective gesture that unites tradition with individual artistic expression.
The “Korean Contemporary Art Festival 2025” promises to be a major highlight in Berlin’s cultural calendar – diverse, emotional, and deeply engaging.
