In her textile works, Mounira Al Solh (b. 1978, Beirut, Lebanon) combines personal narratives with handwritten elements and poetic text fragments that explore themes of memory, emancipation and migration. Claudia Comte (born 1983 in Grancy, CH) integrates writing as a structuring and playful element into her installations and paintings, in which language becomes form, rhythm and material. Adam Pendleton (born 1984 in Richmond, US) uses text and language as conceptual tools, interweaving historical quotations, graffiti and abstract painting to open up spaces of political and cultural meaning.

The exhibition “Sweeter than Honey. A Panorama of Written Art” has been extended until 26 April 2026, giving visitors just a short time left to explore the broad panorama of Written Art in all its facets. The selection of works presents writing as an artistic medium and material from the mid-20th century to the present day.
