Editors’ Choice

From 30. May to 28. June 2026, the Project Space Festival will be spotlighting events at thirty Berlin-based project spaces. Visitors can look forward to a month-long programme stretching from Neukölln to Hohenschönhausen – featuring exhibitions, performances, walks and cooking events.

The festival’s events take place in 30 project spaces and are free to attend. As part of Project Space 2026, numerous independent Berlin-based project spaces are taking part, representing the diversity of the city’s independent art scene through their varied artistic approaches and programmes.

Participating project spaces include: ACUD Galerie, affair, BARAZANI.berlin, BETON Berlin, Cittipunkt, Co-Making Matters, die raum, diffrakt, Errant Sound, gr_und, GUTS, HILDEGARD, Kleine Humboldt Galerie, maḳām, Make-up, Mehringplatz 20, Neun Kelche, panke.gallery, PASSAGE, Pickle Bar, Raum für drastische Maßnahmen, SAP Space, SATELLIT, Scherben, Solaris, stay hungry, Spoiler Aktionsraum, super bien!, The Watch and TROPEZ.

06.06 – 12.06: Week 2

Guided tours: 

As part of the Project Space Festival 2026, two guided tours will take place through Kreuzberg/Neukölln and Mitte. Both tours start at 12:00 pm on Sunday and visit three stops within walking distance of one another. No booking is required.

Closing event:

This year’s closing event is organised by the street newspaper Arts of the Working Class; the communal meal invites artists and culture enthusiasts to reflect on the festival’s 30 days and discuss pressing social, political and aesthetic issues that affect their work and concerns.
