From 14. to 17. May, ‘PULS & PEILUNG’ at the Schaubude Berlin will showcase the diverse artistic styles of the students from the Department of Contemporary Puppetry at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin.

The programme features graduation premieres, bachelor’s theses, as well as creations and performances from the international partner degree programmes. The festival offers the audience an exclusive insight into the exceptional course of study and the creative development of these young artists.

A visual theatre piece about war, fear and the absurdity of everyday life. The cockroach becomes a symbol of the repressed, which nevertheless creeps into our lives.

A participatory puppet karaoke event that combines singing, improvisation and humour into a fun competition.

La Grinta / The Bite

A non-verbal physical theatre piece exploring the pressure to perform, perseverance, and the question of what remains once the applause has died down.
