To mark its tenth anniversary in Düsseldorf-Flingern, the Philara Collection is delighted to announce the opening of a major exhibition on 27. June 2026. Featuring over 100 works by more than 80 artists, the exhibition will be spread across the spacious main hall and all the galleries of the Philara Collection.

The exhibition presents a concise yet representative selection from the Gil Bronner Collection, which currently comprises almost 2,000 works. The exhibition is complemented by selected works from the collection of Bronner’s parents, who encouraged his passion for collecting from an early age. Works from the collections of his children, Philip and Lara – after whom the exhibition hall is named – are also on display.
With this exhibition, the Philara Collection highlights the breadth and diverse connections within its collection. New acquisitions from the past two years are presented alongside Gil Bronner’s favourite works, as well as pieces being shown to the public for the first time.

Another section of the exhibition is devoted to a solo presentation of selected works by Marcel Dzama, some of which come from the Gil Bronner Collection.
