The Viennacontemporary art fair will take place in Vienna from September 11 to 14, 2025. Its goal and focus is to be a leading international fair for contemporary art, bringing together established galleries, emerging talents, and curated special exhibitions. There is a special focus on young and established artists from Central and Eastern Europe in order to establish Vienna as a cultural bridge between East and West.

A special feature of Viennacontemporary is its targeted promotion of young artists and innovative gallery programs. In addition to the main presentations, the fair also offers carefully curated sections such as “ZONE1” for solo presentations by young Austrian artists or artists trained in Austria under the age of 40, as well as ‘CONTEXT’ and “VCT STATEMENT,” which deal thematically with current social developments. The accompanying program includes talks, performances, and special exhibitions that shed light on current topics in the art world.

History:
Viennacontemporary was founded in 2012 as “Viennafair” and changed its name to its current one in 2015.
