Since 2018, the BBA Photography Prize has been awarded annually to talented photographers from all over the world. The photography prize, established by the BBA Gallery, serves to discover and promote up-and-coming talent, whose work will be on display again this year in an exhibition at the Kühlhaus Berlin. The exhibition, which shows the work of the finalists, will start on 4 November 2022 and the award ceremony will take place the following day.

The initiators have now announced the 22 finalists of the BBA Photography Prize 2022:

All shortlisted works will be exhibited at Kühlhaus Berlin. Together with an international jury, the Berlin BBA Gallery has selected these 22 photographers for the shortlist and 37 nominees for the One Shot Award, whose works will be on display in a joint exhibition at the Kühlhaus in Kreuzberg from 4 to 13 November 2022.
The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, 5 November 2022. At 8pm the jury will announce the winners. The winner of the first prize will receive a cash prize, an artistic profile and a solo exhibition at the BBA Gallery.
New category: MPB Award
The MPB Award is a new category to honour a visual storyteller. The winner of the European MPB Award will also be announced on 5 November.

For the 5th time, the BBA Photography Prize honours talented photographers. The winner of the first prize will receive a solo exhibition at the BBA Gallery. Entry is open to all fine art photographers over the age of 18, regardless of age, location or background. A jury of influential professionals will look for the most innovative concepts, aesthetics and unique approaches within the medium.
