On 16 April, the revival of Richard Straussʼ DER ROSENKAVALIER, staged by André Heller and musically conducted by Alexander Soddy, takes place.

Ema Nikolovska makes her role debut as Octavian, alongside Camilla Nylund, who already sang the Field Marshal in the 2020 premiere. The Canadian-Macedonian mezzo-soprano Ema Nikolovska was a member of the International Opera Studio at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden from 2020 to 2022, a scholarship holder of the Liz Mohn Culture and Music Foundation. She has appeared on stage as the Second Lady (“The Magic Flute”), Diane (“Hippolyte et Aricie”), Giovanna (“Rigoletto”), Shepherdess (“Jenůfa”) and Fatima Mansur (“The Arabian Nights”), among others.
The rest of the cast for the revival includes David Steffens (Baron Ochs auf Lerchenau), Siobhan Stagg (Sophie), Roman Trekel (Herr von Faninal), Anna Samuil (Jungfer Marianne Leitmetzerin), Karl-Michael Ebner (Valzacchi) and Katharina Kammerloher (Annina).
