Since 2021, the participatory project 50 Gramm Kunst has also been taking place at the KINDL, which is aimed at curious people of all ages. Families, individuals, and school classes are invited to contribute their own artwork to a large joint installation. The art objects can be made out of everyday items, craft supplies, as well as materials from the participants’ surroundings or from nature. There are no limits to the participants’ creativity. The only requirement is that each artwork should ultimately weigh 50 grams. The submitted artworks are presented on a mobile made of bamboo as a large-scale collaborative work in the cavernous space of the Kesselhaus as part of an exhibition that lasts for several days in July.
