“Events and traumas of the past permeate Aline Schwibbe’s work down to its finest ramifications. Using various media such as drawing, film and photography, she takes up fragmented memories and understands them as cyclical events rather than linear histories. In their multicomplex form and penetration of content, her works are an event, The darkness is now a manifesto.”
In cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
