On 1 June 2025, the Volkswagen Group Art4All Family Sundays summer programme will start at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. Every Sunday until the end of August, the educational programme in the museum’s outdoor area will offer a wide range of activities for families – with workshops, guided tours and creative activities in the garden studio. Since its launch in autumn 2023, around 150,000 visitors have already taken part.

As part of their long-standing partnership, Hamburger Bahnhof and Volkswagen Group launched a new educational programme especially for families in autumn 2023. With a regular offer every Sunday, the focus is on intergenerational dialogue to enable a broad public to participate in art and culture. In summer, Hamburger Bahnhof offers the Volkswagen Group Art4All Family Sunday programme in the outdoor area – with activities such as pets, hammocks and a garden studio.

In the summer months, the programme is moved outdoors: deckchair tours in the outdoor area, a museum parkour through the garden and the joint construction of a mini museum landscape in the sand. Since its launch in September 2023, Volkswagen Group Art4All Family Sunday has taken place every Sunday with studios, workshops, art labs and tours and has so far attracted around 150,000 visitors. The summer edition includes elements such as hammocks, picnic blankets, shaded areas and, if required, pets can be taken along. Experiments with light, printing techniques and water are offered in the Rieckhallenatelier.

On Sundays, the Hamburger Bahnhof organises this programme for families in various constellations to provide access to art. The programme is free of charge and accessible without registration with a museum ticket at a reduced family price between 12 noon and 5 pm.
