On February 2, 2025, the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Berlin will introduce Kollwitz Sunday. This means that on the first Sunday of every month, visitors can explore the Kollwitz Museum for a special admission price of 4 euros.

KollwitzSunday has a lot to offer! In the popular printing workshop, you can try your hand at various artistic printing techniques and create your own works of art. On a tour of the collection presentation, you can experience the impressive works of Käthe Kollwitz in a completely new way – with digital enhancements using augmented reality, which were designed by young people as part of a vacation course.
From mid-April 2025, the Kollwitz Museum will be closed for construction work in order to relocate the collection presentation to the second floor. Taking into account the three-month closure, Kollwitz Sunday will initially start with a test phase from February to April 2025, and we look forward to experiencing and creating art together with you on these special Sundays.
Kollwitz Sunday was initiated to maintain the tried and tested format of the open print workshop even after the free Museum Sunday was discontinued.
