Project initiatives and special projects with a plan for the 14th edition of Berlin Art Week (September 10 – 14, 2025) can be submitted for the ‘Featured’ section until May 31, 2025. From the submissions, the annually newly appointed Selection Committee will award a place in the 2025 festival program to a selection of project promoters. The aim of the selection is to underline the artistic quality in the city, to give various actors a platform and to enrich the festival program with different institutional and art forms, themes and perspectives.

All project organizers from Berlin’s contemporary art scene are invited to submit a contribution: Independent project groups, project spaces and initiatives, municipal art institutions, art institutions and other actors in contemporary art. The prerequisite for participation is a contemporary art contribution that opens during Berlin Art Week or represents a special program within the festival week.
