The Humboldt Forum welcomes all Berliners affected by the power outage, as well as all volunteers and official helpers, to its collection presentations and exhibitions free of charge from Wednesday to Sunday, January 7 to 11, 2026. The workshops and the āOrt der WƤrmeā (Place of Warmth) also invite visitors to linger without consuming anything ā with opportunities to warm up, charge cell phones, a reading and play corner, and tea and coffee in the Ort der WƤrme. For families with children, there are additional offerings such as the Weltstudio at BERLIN GLOBAL and the Familienspur (Family Trail) in the ethnological collections.

Christine Rieffel-Braune, Director of Administration and Infrastructure: āIn this emergency situation, we stand with those affected and the numerous helpers.
