KW Institute for Contemporary Art will celebrate the Berlin Summer on July 14th, 2019 from 1 pm to 9 pm with the Pauly Saal, BON BOCK, and Museum Frieder Burda | Salon Berlin and jointly invite to the “two sides of the same street” courtyard festival in Auguststraße.

Come along with your friends and families and spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon. At Café Bravo, the BON BOCK team provides delicious drinks and snacks. The Pauly Saal Terrace serves oysters from Pléiade Poget and French grill specialities. There will also be a refreshing selection of wines and live music.
In both courtyards and exhibition rooms there are various actions, guided tours and workshops are held for the whole family. The programme and the visit to the exhibitions are free of charge for all visitors on this day.

Eee Tee: Textile studio with Eric Winkler
Based on the strategies of mobile street traders, the Berlin artist Eric Winkler invites us to collage with textiles in the KW courtyard. In the workshop, fast cut-outs and patches from existing fabric remnants combine with the bodies of the participants to form temporary sculptures that intertwine to form social entities before they disperse again. Place: KW courtyard

How to Draw a Bunny. Ray Johnson Collage-Workshop
Be part of the art: The Salon Berlin of the Museum Frieder Burda relies on interaction – not only in its current exhibition. The collage workshop invites children and families to join in on the terrace of the Pauly Hall.

ZickZack, Peanut! Family Workshop at the Image Bank Exhibition
The artist collective Image Bank regularly exchanged pictures, collages and photographs by post. This resulted in joint works of art that produced unexpected meanings. In the workshop, we fold, draw and print unique figures together with all the participants, which come together in the courtyard as billboards.

Walk through the neighborhood with mundraub
Together with Magda from the platform mundraub you will explore the neighborhood of Auguststraße as an edible landscape and afterwards you can make edible creations in the yard from the collected harvest.
