This year, the galleries of Gallery Weekend Berlin have announced a second Gallery Weekend in September in addition to the traditional date in early May. Gallery Weekend *Discoveries from 16 to 18 September 2021 marks the start of an exhibition series in which the participating galleries combine under an annually changing thematic bracket.

This autumn, many of the participating galleries are focusing on new discoveries: Artists who have not yet had an exhibition in the gallery are presented to a wider public for the first time. The artists are presented as solo shows, as additional exhibitions or in group exhibitions. The exhibitions in the galleries are accompanied throughout the year by further journal articles and insights into the Berlin art scene on the website gallery-weekend-berlin.de, where the most important information on all gallery exhibitions can be found.
