On 26 May 2023 from 6 pm, the Contemporary Show Room CSR.ART will celebrate the first ART MEETS BEATS in Friedrichstraße. The event, where art meets music, will take place on the occasion of the midissage of the current exhibition “ZEITENWENDE 1.1 – Kunst und Gesellschaft”. At the same time, ART MEETS BEATS will celebrate the opening of the special exhibition of the BBA ARTIST PRIZE 2023 in the CSR.ART rooms. The four winners of the recently awarded art prize will be presented with selected works and a live performance at CSR.ART.

BBA ARTIST PRIZE 2023
The BBA Artist Prize 2023 continues this week at CSR.ART Contemporary Show Room, following the announcement of the winners of the final at Kühlhaus Berlin in early May. Through the collaboration with DEEDS.NEWS, selected works by the winners of the BBA Artist Prize 2023 will now be exhibited at CSR.ART on Friedrichstraße. The opening of the special show is also part of ART MEETS BEATS. The special thing: This year there are even four winners. The board of trustees chose two third places, one of which was awarded to the performance artist Glen Odgen. The Englishman is coming back to Berlin especially for the opening and will present two special performances during the opening, the first probably at around 6 pm and the second at 9 pm.

ZEITENWENDE is the title and theme of the major exhibition project that will be presented in the CSR.ART Contemporary Show Room until 17 June 2023. It shows a selection of artworks of different genres by 50 international artists from 15 countries on social, cultural and artistic turns of the new millennium.
