This year, the tenth edition of the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair will be celebrated with visitors in and around Berlin-Tempelhof Airport. The organisers are very much looking forward to the anniversary edition from 14 to 17 September 2023 and recommend marking the calendars of participants, as this edition of POSITIONS will be special.

The art fair will take place in the spacious hangars of Tempelhof Airport and on its adjacent airfield, continuing its partnership with Berlin Art Week. Art lovers and visitors will thus have ample space.
The tenth POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair serves as a meeting place for art enthusiasts and creatives, offering opportunities for inspiration, exchange, networking and the acquisition of unique artworks. Participants can look forward to a strong and international line-up presenting a special mix of established artistic positions and emerging talents. In addition, selected Mexican galleries will play a significant role in celebrating the 30-year partnership between Berlin and Mexico City.
The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair will feature several anniversary surprises and an extensive supporting programme that includes special exhibitions, award ceremonies, lectures, evening events and music. This unique mix of an art exhibition with plenty of daylight and a social get-together contributes to the fair’s special charm. The special exhibition “Academy POSITIONS” once again provides insights into the working methods of the up-and-coming generation of artists. This section offers young artists who have recently graduated from art school the opportunity to present their work and be discovered.
The curated section “Selected POSITIONS” aims to offer budding collectors an entry into the art market. The artworks presented in this section will be no larger than 50 x 50 cm and will be offered at prices of less than 1,900 euros.
In addition, the “FASHION POSITIONS” format will make the connection between fashion and art visible. Selected Berlin fashion designers will have the opportunity to present their work in direct dialogue with the art world and use their trade fair stands as creative platforms. Berlin’s vibrant creative scene will be presented in all its facets at the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair.
