From June 15th to 30th, 2024, the Stiftung Schloss Neuhardenberg will be going outdoors again!: The open-air season will once again bring together many illustrious names under the arched roof in the castle park, from Goran Bregovic to Ute Lemper to Konstantin Wecker and KARAT. Cinema meets French cuisine, and the singers’ meeting has guests including Pe Werner and Heinz Rudolf Kunze. Contemporary literature is on the program with Margarita Broich and Samuel Finzi, among others.

The “Stimme des Balkans” (The voice of the Balkans), Goran Bregovic with his Wedding and Funeral Band, will mark the furious start of this year’s open-air season of the Schloss Neuhardenberg Foundation on June 15th. A voice of a completely different kind can be heard on June 16th with Ute Lemper, accompanied by her pianist Vana Gierig and her band, when the great German diseuse takes a journey through time in songs and words about her unique career on the great musicals. stages of the world
A summit meeting of classical music is the concert with the violinist Daniel Hope and the cellist Jan Vogler, accompanied by the young pianist Marie Sophie Hauzel, who will play works that have become film classics on June 19th.
On June 20th, Konstantin Wecker will also look back on his eventful career when he sings songs from five decades of his work.
On June 21st, it’s literature’s turn: The successful novel Der Gott des Gemetzels (The God of Carnage) by Yasmina Reza, which has already been filmed several times, comes to the Neuhardenberg stage with Margarita Broich, Maria Schrader, Samuel Finzi and Wolfram Koch in a star-studded cast.
A day later, on June 22nd, the classic program Cinema Meets Culinary, curated by Dieter Kosslick, will look to France this year. After a conversation about the French way of life, including with the star chefs Eckart Witzigmann and Stephan Hentschel, there will be rural delicacies of French cuisine for dinner in the rose garden, before Burghart Klaußner sings songs by the great chansonnier Charles Trenet. The crowning conclusion of the evening is the film Beloved Cook, starring Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel, among others, introduced by Dieter Kosslick.
This year, on June 23rd, a legendary formation of German rock and pop will once again be coming to the castle park: KARAT has stood for sensitive ballads and straightforward, melodic rock in the music history of far more than just East Germany for more than four decades. Not that long, but just as successful, Dota Kehr and her band DOTA have been on stage. It can be experienced under the arched roof with brilliant amplification: the Babelsberg Film Orchestra accompanies the singer and band with great sound.
Am 29. Juni folgt das diesjährige Sängertreffen Lieder, Sänger und Poeten, das bereits in fünfter Auflage stattfindet und erneut vom Liedermacher Klaus Hoffmann kuratiert wird. Neben ihm sind Alin Coen, Max Prosa & Sascha Stiehler, Wenzel, Heinz Rudolf Kunze und Pe Werner von 14 bis 22 Uhr im Schlosspark zu Gast.
This year’s Singers’ Meeting Songs (Sängertreffen Lieder), Singers and Poets will follow on June 29th, which is taking place for the fifth time and will once again be curated by songwriter Klaus Hoffmann. In addition to him, Alin Coen, Max Prosa & Sascha Stiehler, Wenzel, Heinz Rudolf Kunze and Pe Werner will be guests in the castle park from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
