In her artistic work, which includes objects, sculptures, works on paper, conceptual paintings, (light) installations and video works, Pamela Rosenkranz examines scientific and socio-cultural systems that have a lasting impact on and change people and their environment. Her interdisciplinary approach, which includes approaches from the natural sciences, neurology, art history, literature and biorobotics, reflects the interactions and consequences of a homocentric view of the world that is transferred to the entire living space. In doing so, Rosenkranz develops a distinctive visual language that draws attention to fluid transitions and abolishes strict divisions between culture and nature, humans and animals, humans and machines as well as physical and digital realities. For her first institutional solo exhibition in Berlin, the artist will realize a new site-specific installation at Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.).
