This year, Holy Eschschloraque also stands symbolically and in solidarity for Berlin’s cultural and creative scene, which is sacred to us all, raises its voice for the (free) space that art needs, looks back with gratitude to the year 2024 and with a view to the 30th anniversary of Haus Schwarzenberg in 2025.

Holy Eschschloraque also raises its voice for the (free) spaces that art needs. The artists’ club offers the here and now a lively echo of an anarchic time and preserves a creative production site. But such spaces can no longer be taken for granted.
This “vacation greeting” looks back on a year full of art and culture in Eschschloraque. To name just a few examples: Freiräume means offering artists a platform to express themselves, as has been done for over a decade through the dance and performance series Bande à Part – Tanzbares Ereignis für Außenseiter. It also means shaping and presenting the musical underground, as demonstrated by the work of resident DJ MissVergnügen and her weekly program of regular concerts.
It is a forum in which artistic visions are shared, lived and celebrated, such as at the Queer Feminist Summer Festival United Feminist Sounds in 2024, which is organized in collaboration with exhibiting artists from the neurotitan gallery.this retrospective is symbolic of all the acts, DJs, performers, artists and cultural workers who enrich the creative diversity on site or support it through their commitment.

DJs Ed2000, Vela & Power Tulip, starting at 9 PM
When a night is sacred, it needs the right party tradition: Ed2000, Vela, and Power Tulip deliver the festive, danceable ritual where friends and guests traditionally come together to celebrate this night in style. Vela and Ed2000 have long been known for their “Drum Driven Bass Empowered Dancefloor Ritual,” which they established in legendary clubs like Maria and Tresor. This year, the ritual is enhanced by Power Tulip. “Crossing styles” and driving beats from Ed2000’s timeless sound collection merge with Vela’s “kickass bass lines, forward-driving beats, and the remarkable use of ‘break-downs layering’,” while the “fiery newcomer” Power Tulip kicks off the celebration, “ready to unleash a celebration of queerness, along with sweaty disco and hot tech-house beats.”

Skew is a collective dedicated to creative freedom, “sharing a vision that spans various domains, molding artistic and cultural landscapes.” After a series of successful events in Brazil and Berlin, Skew is coming full force and bringing another label night to Eschschloraque – featuring the three residents Cmba, Courtroom Drama and Gobetti directly from São Paulo, Brazil.

“Life is not a concert of wishes. Music requests are not accepted, or they cost 5 euros – if you like them and they fit into the program.” But requests are not necessary: resident DJ MissVergnügen covers an eclectic music spectrum ranging from 1920s music to electronic beats and leaves nothing to be desired. This also reflects her clear attitude: committing herself to one style would only bore her – which is quite fitting given her versatile talent as a musician, DJ and singer… An evening with MissVergnügen means letting her lead you wherever the direction takes you and then letting go.
