Armenian film director Sergei Parajanov once said he takes his “revenge on this world with love.” This love is deeply woven into the images, films, plays, and music featured at the festival 100 + 10 – ARMENIAN ALLEGORIES. The program will take place from April 24 to May 31, 2025, at the Maxim Gorki Theater and will serve as a prologue to the 7th Berliner Herbstsalon RE-IMAGINE!

This festival brings together 150 artists from around the world, providing, 100 + 10 years after the Armenian Genocide, a vivid portrayal of Armenian voices today. Through their work, the artists explore themes of critical self-reflection, resistance, and the intersection of artistic experimentation with political and social consciousness.
