The Chart Fair is the leading Nordic fair for contemporary art, held at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in the heart of Copenhagen. Its primary aim is to present and promote the Nordic art scene on an international level. The fair offers a curated selection of the finest galleries from the Nordic countries, focusing on current developments and renowned regional artists.
Highlights:
Chart Fair stands out for its focus on Nordic galleries and artists. In addition to gallery presentations, the fair features a rich program of talks, cultural events, and architectural installations. A special focus for Chart 2025 is art in public spaces, exploring how art creates beauty, builds communities, highlights important issues, and impacts our environment. For the first time, “CHART Public” will be introduced, featuring a specially designed immersive scenography in the courtyards of Charlottenborg.
Target Audience:
The fair attracts art collectors, experts, and enthusiasts from Denmark and abroad. It draws both established collectors and new buyers interested in contemporary art from the Nordic region. Industry professionals also find a central platform for networking and discovering new talent.
History:
Founded over a decade ago by five leading Copenhagen galleries, Chart Fair quickly established itself as the most important international platform for contemporary art in the region. Since its inception in 2013, the annual August event has become a highlight of the Nordic art calendar, significantly enhancing the visibility and growth of the Nordic art scene. The 2025 edition marks the 13th edition of the fair.
