The parquet foyer becomes a dance floor: every Saturday afternoon in November, the Staatsballett Berlin and the Deutsche Oper Berlin invite all dance lovers to brave the sinking temperatures with tango, swing and salsa.

Starting at 3.30 p.m., professionals from the Berlin dance scene explain the most important steps, which can then be tried out – in pairs or alone, with dance shoes or on socks. Each of the dates is dedicated to a dance style; on the third afternoon, a piece of dance related to the Staatsballett repertoire is on the programme, which is practised for dancing along.
All this takes place in the stalls foyer of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, admission is free.

Admission from 3 pm, the bar is open. No previous experience is required.
